We organise workshops for children and youth upon arrangement from Monday to Saturday during the school year.

Montessori education assists the child’s natural development into a complete human being comfortable with himself/herself, hers/his society and humanity as a whole.
A prepared environment at MFAS provides a secure and permanent foundation on which artistic education should be based. It is specific to each developmental plane but guided by the same principles.
Within our society we are in constant interaction with people who are older or younger. Since children need different environments at different stages in their development, art classes at MFAS are age mixed. That way the young child is surrounded by role models. Similarly, the older child finds himself/herself in a position of responsibility which leads toward cooperation within group.
Each child is given freedom of choice and freedom of time which allow the child the freedom to respond to the teacher within her/him.
When children are allowed freedom in an environment suited to their needs, engaged into activities of their own choice they grow inner discipline and develop their own will.
At MFAS we use classical drawing practices as a tool for hand-eye coordination enhancement which directly leads toward improvement of cognitive skills (perception, attention, focus enhancement, memory stimulation, visual processing, executive functions), self-confidence boost and creative development.
Mila May, MD
More than 20 years of experience in working with gifted and talented children in combination with Diploma in the Montessori Method of English Language Teaching Mila directed toward creation of drawing education for children and youth with unique approach where creativity, individuality, abilities and self-confidence of children are encouraged through artistic and pedagogical accompaniment and support.
Currently she teaches classical drawing methods to children and youth at the Amadeus Music and Arts Academy and May Fine Art Studio in Vienna, Austria.
Miranda May, BA
Currently finishing Masters program in History of Art and Architecture at University of Vienna in combination with experience in teaching music to young children, Miranda is a valuable team member.
Her knowledge of art history and several languages (English, German, Croatian, Russian and French) helps to easier communicate methods and ideas with international community of students at MFAS.
For children between 7 and 14 year.

We offer art lessons to younger children if they are ready to follow our program.
We schedule a trial lesson first and then we discuss possibilities with child and parents 🙂
